What's The Actual Difference?
Both come from the same source, whey, a byproduct of cheese production, but they're filtered to different degrees. Whey concentrate goes through less processing, so it retains a bit more fat and lactose alongside its protein. Whey isolate is filtered further to strip most of that out, leaving a leaner, slightly higher-protein-percentage powder. Neither is "better" in an absolute sense, they're suited to slightly different goals and different digestive tolerances.
